kSkin - custom skin form implementation library
The kSkin library developed by Kruse Software allows you to create distinctive, runtime, customizable user interfaces for your .NET applications. The kSkin library allows you to switch between different interfaces simply by specifying a different XML skin definition. No longer is a separate code set required to achieve a unique look and feel for different users.
The kSkin library is a managed library written using C# and XML. It works within all .NET languages, including Visual Basic .NET and its native language C#.
Unlike traditional skin components and libraries that only change the color of controls, kSkin allows developers to modify controls, reposition, resize, recolor, and so on ¿ without recompiling the code. It provides support for custom-shaped controls and windows, everything necessary for a .NET GUI.
Requirements
Visual Studio.NET 1.0 or later versions.
kSkin Features
Allows you to provide multiple interfaces for your new and existing .NET applications.
Supports end-user customization of your application interface.
Allows you to create and use your custom XML skin interfaces.
Change user interfaces simply by specifying different skins developed for the kSkin library.
Resize and reposition controls and windows without recompiling the code.
Support for custom shaped (non rectangular) controls and windows.
Supports every Control derived component - buttons, Forms, ListBox and other controls.
Unlike traditional skin components and libraries, it integrates easily into existing Windows Forms applications and allows you to reposition and resize windows and controls.
